do a med, law, commerce, language, arts and travel for a year- by 28!
ah, among the angst and the despair....i get a filling of unfullfillment.
u know, i am enjoying the med course more - of course i'm DOUBLY OVERWHELMED and any minute know i'll become bald either bc : a) i'll lose it to stress b) i'll pull it out over stress (make note to self: must practise mindfullness!)
but at the same.....when i'm smart enough to not look at just the 'medcest' world (which i'm afraid is ALL I DO these days) i'm just reminded there's another fulfilling world out there.
it is certainly, an honour to be in med school. but then i realised that yes i know how the body works, but it seems like i'm missing out on knowing how the world works, how the business world works, politics, arts, etc etc.
i just wish i had more time, perhaps more skill, perhaps not so stressy ideals. wouldn't the world be wonderful if i could complete a med course, law, language, commerce, arts course and still spend a significant time (ie at least a year!) travelling by the time i was twenty-eight?
somehow, i feel that i would be happier.
the world is huge, and i just feel like i'm closing off so much of it.
thank goodness i live in melb though - multicultralism, new things - at least i can try and pretend to dab into the 'outer world'.
yay for moomba and comedy festival that is coming up hey?
