for ur own amusement
xavier college is helping its students chose a 'right' career path and hence, the 'suitable' yr 12 subjects for that university course. they are doing this by allowing all YEAR 10 students to take a DAT, which is a general test, determining what ur skills are, and what profession is best suited to ur personality.
now, DAVID is in year 10, so he took the test. and he tells me it was rather complicated. and rather personal. BUT HE'S FAVOURITE question of all (which ur all going to love):
" are your friends, REAL or IMAGINARY???"
AN ACTUAL QUESTION PPL! haha. i told him he should have said IMAGINARY with REAL PERSONALITIES.
hehe thinking back, plc gave us a really PATHETIC one while we were in yr 10. we answered questions, and then according to how many of this and that u got (yes like DOLLY magazines, where ur like, if u picked mostly a's etc) u got 3 letters that said what kind of personality u are. based on ur combination of 3 letters, u get a list of 'suitable' career choices.
some of my friends got: doctor, lawyer, teacher, accountant, solicitor, consultant etc etc.
some of them even got the: these are u most suitable, but u may also be go this group for ur next ideal jobs. in short, most of my friends got ALOT OF CAREER CHOICES (which kinda defeats the purpose huh?)
i on the other hand, got ONE CAREER CHOICE (see i know how to do the test properly). ONE. no here the next group if u want. NOPE. ONE. AND THAT WAS IT.

haha. looking back, esp on this day (with the friggin exam a day away!) i'm thinking.....damn...should have gone to my true calling. hahaaa....me = sports umpire. that's just hilarious.
