no need for maps

Question #4: Anyone know how to gain extra time?

So i made my way to kaylyn's today...hehe missed my turn but still managed to get to her place...and basically recognised her house and went straight in (i think i scared nads to death by the sudden turning...it was like....hmm " oh there's..." sharp turn in...kinda motion).. and then kay's drive way...hehe..boy that was fun wasn't it nads? hehe i had so much trouble reversing out of it..then when i finally got there...i was like...oh yeah...i'm going to park outside...hehe
the funny thing abt kay's drive way was that when i put the car in reverse and took my foot off the brake...i still went forward....hehe

hehe had a nice chat w kay....ate some good cheesecake...saw "good butt man in speedo" poster, saw a bit of digital tele, "are those footballers wearing lycra?", and then kay's melb med friends came over..to give her a b'day quiche (hehe it works for kay) and a basket full of cucumber (not an inside joke...kay just LOVES LOVES her cucumbers...she really really does)

by then..we had to leave to go pick up mady....and when we got there...i get a msg from geri asking if we can pick her up...of course we can! so we do...hehe got lost on the way...but mady, nads and i decided..nope...we don't need a map....hehe so we guessed our way around the place...hehe and we still managed to get to geri's! cool fun!

then we went to chadstone to meet up w carmen and her bris friends, eunice, chan, and claire - nice ppl...hehe and i'm glad they like their shopping (hehe if u ask me, they'll fit into melb quite nicely!) anyhoot...somewhere along the way...us four decided we had enough and we decided to go home..

Dropped geri off at a train station..where we also proceeded to use the..let's guess our way out method..hehe which was fun..we basically turned anyway and some how by magic ended up on glen iris rd..hehe yay..

Then after that, had to stop by my house and harass david to get the driving learning book for nads' mum...and when we got that realised that hey..its peak hr traffic (4-6) now..and also realised that hey..should try to make it home b4 parents get home...hmmmm...so nads' takes me via highbury st bc "there's no cars on highbury, ever" to his house. and when i dropped him off, he was like..oh "hey, why don't u get home via highbury?" and he proceeded to give me directions...lots of them...and all that registered in my head was..turn right, right, and left (there was way more after that left) hehe...anyhoot...realised that i remember the right and right and left bc i knew that that already...so basically, when i got the big field... i forgot where to turn...
decided that hmmm it'll be interesting following that car in the front..and he took me on a weird turning spree and around weird places....only to end up on springvale rd (and had i not tried to go to highbury, would have ended going via springvale rd) but managed to get home still in 13 mins...not bad...not bad at all..

hehe so there u have...a nice..basic rundown of my day. hehe and the big theme of the day: we like to pretend that we don't need maps...and just make weird turns until we get to where we need to go to..hehe..yeah coolies

i think i'm staying in tomorrow (oh, except for the haircut, which btw...wish me luck that it turns out ok!)
