i need debug
hmmmm u guys may be disgusted by this confession...
but upon entering medicine, i made the choice last year, that infamous "10 second rule" on food that has accidently fallen on ground would be extended to the "40 second rule".
now remember, i only do it if the floor APPEARS clean. reason why? bc i knew getting into medicine, i would start to learn abt microorginisms and the exact things they can do to ur body and how much of a chance we have to cure it and that in turn will cause me to turn into super hygenic freak. like those ppl who won't do anything for fear of bacteria or viruses. u know, can't be normal and just not think abt stuff like that and do normal things like, go to toilet in a public restroom, open the door, eat food w my hands (washed mind u).
well, u'll all be glad to know i don't keep the 40 second or 10 second rule anymore ( i don't drop food anymore YES!). BUT i was still right abt my predictions abt my sad, tightarse future.
we just had a lecture abt viruses and how they can spread....the common cold is caused by a virus known as influenza...and u wanna know how it is spread?
- no it isn't airborne like most of us thought
- when someone w the virus sneezes or coughs and the particles land on say, ur lecture theatres desks...and then u come along and put ur hand on TOP OF THAT VERY DESK that that other person sneezed or coughed on...and then say sometime during ur lecture u absently pick ur nose (no, its not a common thing to do here in aus) or u scratch it, or u rub ur eyes or u suck ur pen that ur hand just touched...AND BAM! THE VIRUS HAS SPREAD!!!!
ARGH. i seriously walked out of the lecture feeling like my hands were so contaminated! i can't seem to do things properly anymore. its kinda like...ewwwwwww i don't know what someone else did here!! OH GROSS. DISGUSTING. OH HELP. I NEED DEBUG.
sigh. damn medical knowledge.
