Question #4: Is it better to be a guy or a girl?
Hmmm...yes...see what happens carmen when u make me go home and not go shopping?
So today, the day after exams....HAS BEEN A BRILLIANT DAY...we started at 11am...which was like YAY! Unfortunately, my taxi driver decided that it wasn't worth his time to come to uni, so i woke up w the prospect of having to catch the bus (which is very ehh at the moment bc i haven't done it since week 2!) - but it was sunny so i wasn't really ready to complain (ok, complain that much)...but as soon as i was walking down my st, i hear the sms sounding thingy...and it was a msg from nads saying he could pick me up (he really wanted me to see him drive...btw mady, u're next)...so i walk back to the house and end up snacking hehe ...coolies...and yes nads, u drive well, boring, but well...
ethics tute was great, i think bc the tutor kept getting us off the subject, and for nic's weird comments ( " ok, why don't we just ask the pt, so, what do u think abt cancer huh?") and the lecture afterwards..well...i wasn't listening, anyhow we still finished at 2!!! an hr earlier than expected!
Now i was ready to go shopping...but after much delibration, carmen decides we'll do that tomorrow (purple stone AND shopping? HOW EXCITEMENT) so she's like..GO HOME..GO STUDY...which i'm like blah. Anyhow, i get to the bus stop and i have to wait for the damn bus...and then esther (yes, plc esther) comes along, and she's like: oh, not getting driven home today? and i'm like...stupid amit...hehe...and then she's like: u haven't caught the bus for a while huh?
Nope. nope i haven't. well i did on monday, which btw, FREAKY GUY was on the friggin bus! sitting opposite me! suddenly outside the window was just so terribly fascinating! Anyhow, i ended up telling Esther how i've been getting lifts off other ppl - amit obviously, paul on fri mornings (the poor guy), nic when i'm desperate, and nads this morning...then of course, bc i talk heaps, i proceeded to tell her how rahul has his ps now, and will b taking me to uni and back on the days amit can't (if only he gets a car)...then esther was like...why didn't u get nic to take u home? and i was like..oh yeah...hmm...then casey comes a walking by, and being polite me ( i am always polite!) i ask him where he's going, and he's like...i'm going driving...towards box hill..hey, come along...i'll take u home!
hehhehe...ok now i'm giddy...hehe yes anyhow...casey takes me home...hehe and it was brilliant. See, all it takes is knowing a few good ppl, w their ps (hurry up w that nads), a car and living in the kinda same direction as urself..and u can generally, always find a ride to uni or home (i still haven't taken james up on his offer to take me home yet!) hehe cool fun
Anyhow, i would have blogged for last night...but hmmm...so wireless internet comes w problems...it too me ALL FRIGGIN DAY to get onto the internet...and we don't know why it too us forever...but it did..and i was not a happy jan...but u now it works and in abt 20 minutes...THE OC IS ON! so now i'm all excited all over again...hmm...simple things amuse simple minds
But back to my story (damn paul), the reason for that question is that in the middle of my frustrations, i go and turn on the tv, and omg..its GIRL TV (shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot huh mady?) and their question of the day is: is it better to be a guy or a girl? and omg, after they interviewed little skany teenagers...the girls themselves said this: oh its def better to be a girl, bc, like, i mean, we have our own tv show....
ummm...STUPID COMMENT ALERT!!!
shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. in all seriousness carmen, bec, i swear, those girls are more SS than i'll ever be...shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. anyhoot, interesting question if we don't go all youngen on it. I think for society, its better to be a guy...but if a girl knows how to play her cards right, she's got the world at her feet...so umm....can someone teach me how to play my cards right? thanks
