fun events
hehe FINALLY....some spontaneous visiting from ppl! hehe got the hint huh? YAY!!
ok the funny stuff that happened today:
at kay's house
setting the scene: 11 am waking up, wanting to drive to kay's - leave at 11 30 am - actually left at 11 33am and got there at 11 45am
funny moments:
* me driving along huntingdale going, ok, at the freeway bridge, 3 streets......me not noticing freeway bridge....me missing kay's st...me turning into next st and turning into the little st off that and doing a VERY COOL AND CONTROLLED (not being sarcastic here at all) 3 pt turn before returning onto huntingdale rd and then progressing along to get to kay's house (6th speed bump...got it...)
* me and kay exchanging rather interesting stories abt the semester - hehe i miss how candid our conversations can be...hehe
* nads coming to visit kay himself...and parking rather CLOSE in front of my car...hmmm...IT WAS VERY CLOSE.....
* nads trying to show his 'genetic' genes and demonstrating how to work the digital remote control for the digital cable tv:
nads: see, u press the green button
(nads presses the red button)
me: uh...what?
nads: the GREEN button...press the GREEN button
(nads again presses the red button)
me: uh, nads, that's RED....oh...hehe U CAN'T TELL CAN YA?
nads: hmph..
hehe funny funny stuff...unfortunately....kay wasn't around to see that....damn it
* nads discovering my box of earrings on the table desk - kay had given me a b'day present which was of course earrings (what else would u get me :D) and i had changed my earrings that i had worn on the way to kay's for the new pair...so i put my old pair inside that box...now that pair of earrings are the pair of earrings that i got at sportsgirl for a BARGAIN w mady in semester one...remember? the round circles one w beads hanging at the end....anyhoot...i'm sure most of u DO REMEMBER...but nads.....
nads (to me): oh hey, these are nice earrings...are these kay's?
me: oh wha? ...don't u reco....never mind
me (in my head): huh, this will be fun...doesn't recognise my cool earrings huh? sees them at least once a month...hehe...
nads: they're nice
(kay walks over)
nads (to kay): hey, these are really nice earrings!
kay: umm....they're chris' and they're her old ones...
me: uh huh
nads (defensive mode): well it's not like i can always tell...u have WAY TOO MANY
then i forget what happened here but i think kay was explaining how they were a b'day present for me when nads goes:
(defensive again): hey! i got u earrings too!!
me: umm...when did i say u didn't?
nads: and they're pretty too....
me: ok...not sure how we got here...
hehe funny funny....so funny...and u have no idea nads...how much i resisted from complaining...it was such an easy shot...and i didn't take it....damn...hehe... :P
at my house:
setting the scene: knowing i would be slightly too bored for anything, rang up mady and said u doing anything tonight? her: no me: ok her: want to watch OC? me: yep...so i go and pick up mady and take her back to my place....nads and bec came 15 mins after....and then sometime during the night..paul and geri come along too!!
* paul's piano playing - CLASSIC....hehe if only i had such talent (ok, sense the sarcasm)
* geri trying to stop mady, paul and nads from playing that tune that annoys her to no end....even funnier when mady came from behind and tried to stop geri from stopping paul's piano lesson from nads...
* mady driving nads' car! U GO SWEETIE! hehe nice work all around...although...nads had do to show 'who the man' was
* me feeding both bec and mady noodles (i'm so sorry honeys) only to have mum call later informing me that they could eat the quiche...grrrr...hehe...sorry!
* mady's foot puppeting abt paul and seetha.....HEHE BRILLIANT STUFF...must have that on tape
* paul doing a commando roll on gym ball....paul is not atheletic
* watching a continous run of scrubs
* at the end, watch paul call my brother a dirty cheat and a homo numerous times bc he was getting his arsed kicked in so many games....such a poor loser paul?
ehhe ok, long enough post....hehe that's all the fun i had today....:D
