So much for staying the optimist. That screwed up in what, 2 weeks? joy...i can't even stick to my own beliefs....ha ha...the joke's on me.
Went to my PLC reunion last night...and was it good? it was a very 'eh' moment...it was ok...it was so and so...I think the point of the reunion was that it showed u how very dependent we all are on being at the same place at the same time to get converations going...
i met ppl that i hadn't seen for awhile (something like, since yr 12 ended) and boy was it hard to maintain conversation....once we had done the obligatory, how are u doing, what is ur course, how are u finding it, sounds like fun, basically...there was no where else to go...sad...very sad...
I've probably talked to lots of u abt this...but it always makes me wonder...when do we become mature enough, brave enough, to maintain close friendships w those who we don't see all the time, w those we don't even speak to most of the time
i hope i'll get there...to be quite frank, i'm totally jealous w those who can do that- what do they do differently? hehe mystery of the world
ok...hmmm...let's try this optimistic approach once again...and let's start small
the world is a good place bc it still contains bacon, golden gay times, crunchie shakes, crunchie icecream, and crunchie bars...good stuff
