bridget jones' 2nd movie = goodly goodness
so, remember how i hate being alone?
so as soon as we got into melb, i basically msged tina and told her to come stay at my house for the night...WHICH SHE DID!
the poor girl though, i showed her some scrubs...and unfortunately, fell asleep on her! i had on and off sleep from 7pm.....and we both didn't get up till 1pm.....haha.....funny.
anyhoot, after lunch today, we decided to go see a movie...and we watched BRIGET JONES' DIARY: the edge of reason.....WHICH WAS GREAT! i actually quite liked it....more than the first movie i must say...and the TWIST...well.......i NEVER saw that one coming.....tsk tsk......i actually thought that maybe she was a long lost sister/cousin/auntie/mother twice removed.....something along those lines...BUT THAT!!!! WOW!!!
a little short of a movie, but still nice. not impressed by the prison scene, thought that was a bit much....but nah...it was all good still...I QUITE LIKED IT.....and that's saying something bc it comes from britian (although, so did love actually, and i loved that)
after that, more scrubs....and it turns out....from the time tina was at my house...she basically saw all the scrubs she could see on my laptop....THAT'S A LOT.....something like 20 different episodes...
on sat, i overheard that maybe nads and paul would go to monash to play a bit of bball on sunday night...and i was hoping they would so it'll give me an excuse to drive tina there to give her a night tour...ehhe.....but nads said no....and then at 9 30, said yeah they were going....SO....i basically took tina to monash....ehhe was driving behind paul, but bc he drives LIKE SHIT......hehe nah...he doesn't....more like.....I DRIVE SO GOODLY...hehe i managed to get into monash FIRST....despite the fact that i had 2 red lights after paul....so i was WAY behind...don't worry...there was NO SPEEDING...promise....it just so happened that the red light at blackburn and wellington is long, and i caught up w them there, and was in the 2nd lane while they were in the 1st and my lane had less cars...does that make sense? yeah......well...yeah.
anyhoot, showed tina as much as i could....we talked on the phone to kal for a while...watched the guys play a bit w the OTHER YUGOS and i basically had enough by 10 30, so i left....drove around monash at a crazy speed and drifting into lanes and stuff like that....and then took tina home and still managed to get home before 11. phew.
tomorrow is my FIRST REAL WORKING DAY. ARGH. shoot me now. and then after that...i have to go the city for my hair appointmentness and parallel park! ARGH what a bitch. hopefully, there's not a lot of cars and i can go in nicely....hehe...
paul has invited nads to play bball tomorrow.....could be interesting to go watch it ....but mother just gave me a nice long talk abt how i go out too much...and then when i pushed for permission, she said: "u do what u like"
hmmm...now if i were A GUY - it would be excusable for me to take that to mean, do what u like....and meaning i can go out whenever, come home whenever.....BUT bc i'm a GIRL....i'm meant to read btw the lines and realise that NO...i should stay home....
so...the difficult decision is, do i act like a guy and go out? or be a girl and stay home?
hmmmm i'll see tomorrow....i could be way tired from the work and all. hehe.....we'll see.
