SEMESTER 1 OVER

so. that was rather exciting.

what was? oh yesterday marked my transition into the 2nd half of my medical training. oh that's right. i'm now 50% a doctor. LIKE FRICK.

who would have thought i would get to this point? we had a 'formative' exam yesterday, meaning, the exams don't mean heck but hmmm i didn't feel i was super duper abt it (i mean, cardio and resp questions went over my head - not bc i didn't study them...bc i haven't been on that rotation!) but the questions i should have known, at least i managed to get it down to 2 choices (from a choice of 10+ - yeah its not ur normal 5). so at least i reckon i'm more on track than i was last year. but still. SO MUCH TO LEARN.

anyway, i feel i've learnt lots and still haven't learnt anything at all. this semester has flown. how does it go by so fast? i don't know. but it really has. i must say, though there were plenty of crap times, there were great times...and u know u've had an good time when u remember only the great times, and vaguely remember there were the bad. so overall, semester 1, 2006 - good. drama free. enjoyable. new friendships. yep, that's how i'd summarise it. fantastic first 6 months. hope the next 6 months surpass it!
